    About this recipe: A simple, yet delectable recipe. Mussels, prawns and scallops are simmered together in a creamy white sauce. Serve with rice or pasta for a delicious lunch or dinner

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 8 frozen mussels, thawed
    • 12 medium frozen cooked prawns, thawed
    • 8 medium frozen scallops, thawed
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 30g butter
    • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • 1 (295g) tin cream of mushroom condensed soup
    • 150ml water or as needed
    • 125ml steamed milk or as needed
    • chopped fresh parsley, to serve (optional)
    • chopped fresh basil, to serve (optional)

    Method

    1. Season the seafood with salt and pepper. Let sit for 20 minutes.
    2. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the butter and garlic. Fry garlic until aromatic, 2-3 minutes. Stir in the onion and cook until soft, 3-4 minutes.
    3. Turn the heat on to high, add the seafood and heat through until done, about 2-3 minutes.
    4. Add the mushroom soup, water and milk a little at a time, until you get the correct consistency. Turn off the heat and add parsley and basil to serve.
