Cappuccino Cream


    A delicious cool and creamy dessert with mascarpone cheese, yoghurt and cappuccino powder. Use little dessert moulds or ramekins to freeze. Sprinkled with cocoa and crushed amaretti biscuits, they make a lovely presentation.

    Serves: 8 

    • 500g mascarpone
    • 150g low-fat yoghurt
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 sachets instant cappuccino powder
    • 100ml whipping cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon cocoa
    • 50g amaretti biscuits, crushed

    1. Mix the mascarpone, yoghurt, sugar, vanilla and cappuccino powder with an electric hand mixer. Beat the cream until stiff and fold into the mixture.
    2. Pour the cappuccino cream into small moulds and freeze. At least 30 minutes before serving, loosen from the mould and allow to thaw. Sprinkle with cocoa and garnish with amaretti.
