About this recipe: A simple goulash recipe - needs some time as the beef needs to stew slowly for about 1-1 1/2 hours, so you just need to plan ahead a little. This goes well with noodles, mash or dumplings.

  • oil for the pan
  • knob of butter for the pan
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree

  3. Add some butter to the hot pan type and briefly fry the onion until translucent. Add tomato puree and stew briefly. Pour in the stock and add the meat and the carrots. Cover the pan and stew for 60-90 minutes over a low heat. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
