Cut cauliflower into florets and wash thoroughly.
Bring a pan of salted water with lemon juice to the boil and boil the cauliflower in it for 8-10 minutes, uncovered, until al dente. Drain and dry well on kitchen paper.
Beat eggs with pepper and salt until fluffy. Dip cauliflower into the eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
Heat the vegetable oil and fry the cauliflower in it until it is browned on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper. Serve warm.
