These scones are prefect for last minute guests. You should eat them while they're as fresh as possible, preferably while still warm so that the butter melts perfectly on them. And with jam, of course!
To be honest I didn't like this recipe, firstly the recipe steps weren't in order, secondly after we completed the "recipe" the scones had a terrible taste as the amount of baking powder was way to much and thirdly when making scones you are meant to make it by hand as it makes it more fluffy therefore tasting better. - 11 Jun 2017 (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
