Herb and garlic butter

    I find that nothing tastes better with grilled meats than garlic butter - add a salad, and you have a complete meal. You can also use fresh herbs, but I love the packets of frozen herbs that they sell in supermarkets.

    Serves: 10 

    • 250g softened butter
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
    • 6-8 tablespoons frozen mixed herbs

    1. Beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until fluffy. Press the garlic and mix it with some salt. Mix herbs and garlic with the butter and season with salt and pepper. Mould into a log or place in a small bowl with it and chill.
