About this recipe:A fantastic punch made with cognac, rum, honey, tea, lemon and orange. Perfect for the festive season, or as an alternative to mulled wine. This punch needs to infuse for a few hours before heating.
2 oranges, 1 of them unwaxed
2 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea (or 2 tea bags)
250ml dark rum

Wash and dry the orange and peel it in a very thin spiral.
Squeeze both the oranges and the lemons. Mix the juice, Cognac and orange peel in a pan and leave to infuse in a covered pan for 3 hours.
Brew tea as usual with boiling water and leave to steep for 3-5 minutes. Add with the rum and honey to the pan. Remove the orange peel.
Heat punch thoroughly, but do not boil. Serve immediately in glass mugs.
