About this recipe: We always use this easy sauce at home. It's helpful that we have a small herb garden, providing a bounty of fresh herbs anytime. A great sauce with chicken, turkey, salmon or even steak. You can also use it as a salad dressing.


Serves: 8 

  • 200g yoghurt
  • 200g soured cream
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh garden herbs like parsley, chives, chervil, dill, basil, etc.

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, or whizz in a blender. Season. Store in fridge and consume within a few days.
