Vegan carob sauce

    This is a delicious and easy recipe for adding that extra bit to your favourite vegan ice cream. Even non-vegans will love it!

    Serves: 10 

    • 125g soya milk powder
    • 150g chopped or ground pecans
    • 39g carob chunks, chopped
    • 360ml water
    • agave syrup to taste

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Put milk powder, ground pecans and carob chunks in a small pot with a little of the water and melt together on low heat.
    2. Add the agave to your taste :) and stir till melted.
    3. Add the rest of the water to the consistency you desire, bring to a boil and serve with delicious ice cream!!


    You don't have to use a lot of carob. It keeps its colour quite well.

    Other ideas

    Prepare sauce and throw over your favourite sponge cake immediately after it comes out of the oven!
