About this recipe: This is a wonderful recipe to use when limes are on offer. Lime juice is mixed with a sugar syrup. This concentrate can be used in drinks and cocktails, as well as being diluted to make limeade.

Makes: 750 ml limeade concentrate

  • 375g caster sugar
  • 250ml water
  • 375ml freshly squeezed lime juice

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Extra time:10min cooling  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Heat the caster sugar and water in a medium saucepan until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool for 10 minutes. Stir in the lime juice. You can freeze this concentrate for up to 6 months.
