About this recipe:
Quick and easy to make and it tastes great. Good way to use up leftover tomatoes. Add more chillies if you like it hot. Nice mixed with beef noodles, as a dip or on sandwiches.
Makes: 3 Jars
3 green bird's eye chillies, chopped
1 red chilli, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
6 to 8 tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 teaspoon caster sugar
1 pinch black pepper
- Chop the chillies, garlic and tomatoes and place in a pan.
- Add heat and stir until the tomatoes have released juices. Add tomato puree, sugar, and black pepper.
- Blend and serve. You can eat it hot or cold.
Nice served as a dip with BBQ lamb or on chicken kebabs.
Fiery and really tasty, had it on Moroccan meatballs!! Delish!!
