    About this recipe: A delicously hearty soup, which is quick and easy to make. Cream style corn is simmered with chicken soup, single cream, bacon, spring onions and prawns. Enjoy with crusty bread, if desired.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 (375g) tin cream style corn
    • 1 (295g) tin condensed cream of chicken soup
    • 350ml single cream
    • 4 tablespoons crumbled cooked bacon
    • 2 spring onions, chopped
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 225g cream cheese, cubed
    • 75g small cooked prawns

    1. Stir together the cream style corn, cream of chicken soup, single cream, crumbled bacon, spring onions and cayenne pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then stir in cream cheese until melted. Add the prawns and cook a minute or two to heat through.
