About this recipe:Gala apples are my favourite for this apple tart - juicy, sweet and crisp! My friends all seem to love it when I make this apple puff pastry tart. If you don't have vanilla sugar, simply use a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
1 puff pastry sheet, rolled
6 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
200ml creme fraiche
125g caster sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla custard powder

Line a pie dish or tart tin with the sheet of puff pastry. Prick the bottom with a fork. Layer the apple slices over the pastry, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl then pour over the apple slices.
Bake in preheated oven to 200 C / Gas 6 until golden brown.
