Citrus Fruit Salad

    A light and tasty dessert perfect at the end of a heavy meal, and wonderful in winter when citrus is in season. The grapefruit is both cleansing and refreshing. Add a spoonful of vanilla ice cream if you feel like it!

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 lemon
    • 4 oranges
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 2 grapefruit

    1. Squeeze 1 orange and the lemon and mix the 2 juices in a bowl. Add the sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
    2. Get the segments from the 3 remaining oranges and 2 grapefruit. Cut into thin slices and arrange slices in a serving plate.
    3. Pour the fruit juice mixture over the slices.
    4. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.
