About this recipe:This is a wonderfully elegant but easy starter made with little more than two ingredients - asparagus and Parmesan cheese. Best to enjoy when asparagus is local and in season. You could also use Pecorino Romano cheese instead.

250g very thin green asparagus, trimmed
1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese
