About this recipe: I like my quiche Lorraine better with ham instead of bacon. This quiche is made in no time and is very good. The perfect dish for beginners! It is super easy thanks to using shop-bought pastry sheets.

Serves: 6

  • 1 shortcrust pastry sheet
  • 5 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoons creme fraiche
  • 200g grated Gruyere cheese
  • 250g cooked ham, diced
