The wonderful flavour combination of apples and pork are brought together in this braised dish. It's simple and tastes fantastic. Enjoy with potatoes, if desired.
Simple and straightforward to make - it made a nice Saturday night dinner. Not sure about the quantities above - I used six sausages and just doubled the amount of sparkling wine (plus a splash) and one extra apple but I really had to reduce it down quite a bit so think 150ml for two (?) sausages would be too much. A little tip - I also used quite herby butchers sausages which I won't next time as it slightly overpowered the taste of the apples and wine. None the less a very tasty dish - recommended. - 16 Feb 2014
