About this recipe: This is a great appetiser that will wow your guests. Make sure you use real caviar in this dish. It is served alongside chopped egg, creme fraiche and shallots.


Serves: 4 

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon creme fraiche
  • 1 tablespoon chopped shallots
  • 1 tin caviar (real caviar)

  1. Place egg in a saucepan of water. Bring to the boil and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Cool under running cold tap, then peel and finely chop.
  2. Serve caviar from the tin with a caviar spoon. Serve the egg, shallot and creme fraiche alongside in separate bowls.
