Port-soaked melon

    I usually prepare this recipe when melons are in season and at their sweetest. I always choose the heaviest and most fragrant ones as they are usually the tastiest too. A wonderfully light and easy dessert.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 melons – Galia or Charentais
    • 8 tablespoons good port

    1. Cut melon in half and deseed. Add 2 tablespoons of port to each half. Refrigerate till serving.
