Wedges of soft Camembert are dipped in a cider batter, then fried till crisp and golden. These are delicious cheesy fritters; crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. These will go fast at a party!

250g plain flour
200ml dry cider
3 tablespoons oil
1 camembert wheel

Heat 5cm of oil in a deep frying pan to 180 C. Prepare the batter by mixing the flour, eggs, cider and oil.
Cut the camembert into 8 wedges and dip the wedges in the batter.
Dip the fritters in hot oil in the deep fryer for 5 minutes or until the fritters are slightly brown.
Remove from oil and pat with kitchen paper. Serve immediately.
