Mango lassi

    A traditional Punjabi beverage made with yoghurt. This one is sweet and calls for mango. Serve with fresh mint, if you like. It's smooth, creamy and absolutely heavenly!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 mangos - peeled, stone removed and diced
    • 450g (16 oz) low fat natural yoghurt
    • 100g (4 oz) caster sugar
    • ice cubes

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

    1. In a blender, combine mangos, yoghurt, sugar and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

    So fantastic! This is one of my favorite drinks. I have used strawberries as well as mangoes and both are very tasty. I sometimes use frozen fruit (as that is often what I have on hand) and I just add a little bit of milk so that my blender can handle it. Yum!  -  23 Oct 2013
