Forest Fruits Muesli Crumble

    A lovely crumble made with an array of frozen fruits and muesli for added texture. Perfect served with ice cream or custard. You could really use any combination of frozen berries here, though I like the Blackforest fruits variety. You can also use fresh berries, when in season.

    • 100g sugar
    • 1 tablespoon plain flour
    • 2 (450g) packets frozen Blackforest fruits
    • 175g muesli
    • 110g dark brown soft sugar
    • 60g plain flour
    • 110g softened butter

    1. Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
    2. Combine the 100g caster sugar and 1 tablespoon flour. Add fruit and mix thoroughly. Place in the bottom of a 2 litre baking dish and set aside.
    3. Combine the muesli, brown sugar and flour. Rub in the butter, and sprinkle over the fruit mixture, pressing down lightly. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
