About this recipe: A lovely flavoursome potato chowder. I make this recipe at least once a week, and my other half loves it.
I found it a bit on the bland side. The baking was unnecessary and left the ingredients not softened. I also find the portions to be inaccurate as there is no way it would only feed 2 servings. I recommend giving this one a blended finish instead of leaving it in chunks, switch out the vegetable oil for cooking spray to give it a healthier touch. The cheese would blend better if shredded but is not necessary if you are watching your weight. Try with less potatoes as well to help bring out more of the garlic flavor. - 15 Dec 2013
