    About this recipe: Make your very own melange of dried Italian herbs with this recipe. Wonderful for poultry, pork, veal, roast potatoes and more. Also a nice addition to homemade vinaigrette.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 10 tablespoons

    • 2 tablespoons dried basil
    • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
    • 2 tablespoons dried thyme
    • 2 tablespoons dried marjoram
    • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
    • 1 tablespoon dried sage

    Method

    1. In a food processor, combine basil, oregano, thyme, marjoram, rosemary and sage. Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency is achieved.

    Tip

    You could also add 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt to the mixture and use it as a low-salt substitute.
