About this recipe: A simple, yet delicious warming winter drink. Boiling water is mixed with sugar, then flavoured with rum. For the grog to taste perfect, preheat the rum and use boiling water.


Serves: 4 

  • 500ml water
  • 40g caster sugar
  • 125ml dark rum

Prep:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

  1. Pour boiling water into 4 glasses. Split the sugar between the glasses. Stir so that the sugar dissolves. Only then, pour the rum into the glasses. Serve with cinnamon sticks.
