About this recipe:
These waffles are a must for any marzipan lover. They are rich, sweet and oh-so-delicious. Enjoy for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dessert.
Makes: 10 waffles, depending on size
200g marzipan, cut into small cubes
200g plain flour
1 pinch salt
40g caster sugar
- Using an electric mixer, beat together milk and marzipan until smooth.
- Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour, sugar and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Cook the waffles as normal, according to your waffle maker's instructions.
Disappointing as it does not taste of marzipan, just of a sweet dough.
