Chocolate oat cookies

    These delicious cookies are quick and easy to make. Not only are they gluten and dairy-free, they are also chocolately, oaty and oh-so-moreish. Enjoy on their own or with a big mug of tea.

    Makes: 20 cookies

    • 100g grated chocolate
    • 100g caster sugar
    • 100g porridge oats (gluten-free)
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 pinch baking powder
    • 1 pinch salt

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. Mix all ingredients together quickly. Use a teaspoon to make small heaps of dough on a greased baking tray.
    3. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.

    What kind of chocolate did you use? With it being dairy-free I mean.  -  08 May 2011


    Sorry but I ended up with one big flat hard biscuit on my tray. However after chipping it off I did taste a bit and it was quite nice, I will keep the crumbs as a crunchy ice-cream topping.  -  10 Mar 2014
