Beautiful German apple cake

    1 hour 10 min

This delicious German apple cake is simple to make, tastes fab and with fanned apples arranged over the top of the cake - it looks beautiful, too. Sprinkling sugar over the apples caramelises them nicely.

It was delicious! I put sugar and cinnamon on top before I put it in the oven and that gave it the extra kick! :-)  -  10 Oct 2014
