5 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
10 spring onions
2 fresh jalapeño chillies, seeded
1 clove garlic, minced
handful chopped fresh coriander
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons hot sauce, such as Tabasco
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt

In a blender or food processor, pulse the tomatoes, spring onions, chillies, garlic and coriander to desired consistency. Transfer to a bowl, and mix in the lime juice, hot sauce, black pepper and salt. Serve immediately with tortilla crisps, or refrigerate until serving.
If you can't find fresh jalapeños, use jarred, or substitute fresh green chillies.
