My son, husband and I went blackberry picking and had a kilo of blackberries so I decided to use these and no apples. I omitted the water as the blackberries were pretty juicy already. I omitted the walnuts as we don't like nuts and I didn't have any baking powder. Turned out fantastically tasty. Really like the crumble on the top and it's a winner all round.
