A great pasta bake for those who don't like to cook. Par-boiled macaroni is baked in a super-easy cheese sauce. Enjoy with crusty bread, if desired.
Looks like an extremely generous amount of cheese to me. Much as I love it, I'd hesitate to use that much. - 10 May 2016
Made this twice and I agree it is soooo easy. However, each time I have had complaints it's not 'cheesy' enough, it should be with the amount of cheese in it!!! Next time I am going to try stirring the cheese mixture through the macaroni rather than pour it over it and hopefully this should help. I'm not giving up on it yet........ :-) - 11 Feb 2015
I loved this recipe, however I did make a couple of minor modifications. First, I used 4T of butter, and 3.5c of cheese. Second, I warmed/melted cheese into the milk/egg mixture on medium heat while cooking the macaroni. Third, I put a layer of Italian Bread Crumbs on top of dish and covered for 15 minutes while baking. Uncovered it for the last 15 minutes then stirred in the bread crumbs before serving. - 07 Mar 2007 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
