Something else. This tasted wonderful but next time I am going to cook it for longer on a lower heat as the outside was starting to burn and the centre was still raw. - 13 Feb 2011

Lovely recipe; thanks for posting it. Moist, delicious, healthy(ish!), and great for kids. After after reading the reviews that people had problems with baking it all the way through, I found a consistent 170C fan oven setting for about 55 minutes, then covered by foil for about 25 minutes out of the oven, worked well. Delicious. - 15 Mar 2014

this cake tasted lovely, i used ground ginger instead of cinnamon as i don't like cinnamon - although i have to agree with the previous reviewer about the cooking times as mine too was burning but not quite cooked in the middle - all in all a nice recipe but need to work on the cooking time and temp - 14 Sep 2012
