About this recipe:This pasta dish is quick, easy to make and delicious to boot. I hope you enjoy it. Any smaller pasta shape will work. The pasta is combined with low fat turkey mince, green pepper, sweetcorn and spices, in a yummy sauce.
250g fusilli pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
250g minced turkey
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (410g) tin sweetcorn kernels, drained
1 tablespoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
180ml barbecue sauce

In a large pot with boiling salted water cook pasta until al dente. Drain.
Meanwhile, in a large non-stick frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat, add onion and cook until onion for 2 minutes, or until softened. Add minced turkey and cook until no pink remains, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in chopped green pepper, sweetcorn, chilli powder, oregano, salt, passata and BBQ sauce. Bring mixture to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a large serving bowl, combine the turkey mixture with the pasta. Serve immediately.
