Honey sesame bread

    A wonderful bread for the bread machine that is so fantastic toasted. It is a deliciously chewy, sweet, nutty-tasting bread. If you love sesame seeds, you'll love this! Use dried buttermilk instead of dried milk, if you can find it.

    Serves: 12 

    • 300ml water
    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 1 tablespoon dried milk
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    • 375g bread flour
    • 3 tablespoons wheat bran
    • 8 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
    • 2 1/4 teaspoons dried active baking yeast

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:3hr  ›  Ready in:3hr5min 

    1. Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
    2. Select Basic Bread cycle.

    This is such a delicious bread recipe. Just a few minor substitutions on my part.. I couldn't find dry buttermilk powder at the store so I replaced it with plain milk powder. Also, I substituted wheat germ in place of the wheat bran as wheat bran is actually less nutritous than wheat germ. Toasting the sesame seeds is definetely a must for this recipe.
