Easy Cheesy Tuna Bake

About this recipe: This is a very simple and quick recipe to make when you have a few ingredients in the cupboard and a hungry family to feed. If you don't have macaroni to hand, simply use another small pasta shape.

Ingredients

Serves: 6 

  • 100g macaroni
  • 1 (300g) tin condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 (170g) tins tuna, drained
  • 450g Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 60g seasoned croutons or breadcrumbs

Method

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  2. Cook macaroni for 8 to 10 minutes in salted boiling water, or until al dente; drain. Meanwhile, in a 20x30cm baking dish, combine soup, tuna and 1/2 of the cheese; mix well.
  3. Add pasta to baking dish and mix together. Add remaining cheese to the top of the mixture, then add croutons. Cover dish and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted; serve.
