Method Prep:20min › Ready in:20min
Butter a 20x30cm baking dish.
Pour the sugar, syrup and peanut butter into a large microwave bowl. Microwave on high until it begins to bubble, two to three minutes. Once the mixture is boiling, remove from the microwave, and stir in the cereal and chocolate chips until coated.
Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Wet hands lightly, and press down the treats until smoothed. Let cool, and cut into squares.
I cooked this as a treat for my husband and 2 fussy little boys, I don't have a microwave so melted and boiled the ingredients on the hob, which worked as well just took a minute longer, I tasted the mixture, which was mmmm. I topped my tray with melted chocolate and put it in the fridge to chill, when I got home from work it was gone, I think 10 out of 10.
Well done thank you - 17 Aug 2014
