Cinnamon and Raisin Bread

About this recipe: The aroma from this bread is so good that it will make you salivate. It's tender, delicious and easy to make. Simply place all of the ingredients into a bread maker and let it do its magic!



Makes: 675 g loaf

  • 300ml warm water (45 degrees C)
  • 30g margarine, softened
  • 450g bread flour
  • 4 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons dried active baking yeast
  • 110g raisins

  1. Place the ingredients into the pan of a bread machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Select sweet bread and light crust settings. Add raisins when indicated.

Hi Barbara I would like to make this in my bread machine which is a Russell Hobbs and makes 3 different size loaves, 500g, 750g and 1kg. Do you know what size I should use? Many thanks - 11 Feb 2014
