    About this recipe: This is a quick and easy fix for party appetisers. Breakfast muffins are spread with a cheesy crab topping, cut into bite-sized pieces and grilled to perfection.

    Serves: 20 

    • 450g fresh crab meat
    • 450g cheese spread
    • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
    • 30g butter, softened
    • 340g breakfast muffins, split
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

    1. Preheat grill.
    2. In a medium-size mixing bowl, mix together crab, cheese, mayonnaise and butter. Spread a heaped tablespoon of crab mixture onto each muffin half. Sprinkle with paprika. Cut into quarters. Arrange the pieces on a baking tray.
    3. Grill until the crab mixture is bubbly and golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve warm.
