In a medium-size mixing bowl, mix together crab, cheese, mayonnaise and butter. Spread a heaped tablespoon of crab mixture onto each muffin half. Sprinkle with paprika. Cut into quarters. Arrange the pieces on a baking tray.
Grill until the crab mixture is bubbly and golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve warm.
