450g minced beef
2 cubes chicken stock, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
60g plain flour
350ml skimmed milk

Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat; stir in the minced beef, chicken stock, garlic granules, black pepper and onion powder. Cook and stir until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned and no longer pink, about 7 minutes.
Stir in the flour and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the milk and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5 minutes to thicken.
A really quick and tasty meal which the whole family enjoyed. I added onions and mushrooms when browning the mince and served with pasta and salad. I would probably only use one stock cube next time though. - 06 Mar 2014
