About this recipe:Transform tinned cream of mushroom soup into a creamy sauce for pork chops. Quick and easy, but very delicious. One of my family's favourites served over brown rice.
4 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 onion, chopped
225g (8 oz) fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tin condensed cream of mushroom soup

Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large frying pan, brown the chops over medium high heat. Add the onion, garlic and mushrooms, and sauté for one minute. Pour cream of mushroom soup over chops. Cover frying pan, and reduce temperature to medium low. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes, or until chops are cooked through.
I made this for tea today. I did not use the tin of soup though, i made a delicious mushroom sauce with mushrooms, garlic, onions, butter, flour, left over white wine, vegetable stock and lots of parsley. Yum! Cheaper as wee as i didn't have to buy soup on top of the basic's. (which most people have in cupboard/fridge anyways!) Really quick and easy to make too, which I need with 4 kids in the house!!
