This easy appetiser is quick to throw together. German rye bread is topped with a creamy blue cheese spread, a slice of cucumber and a slice of olive.
GREAT!! I peeled & seeded the cuke. Then squeezed out some excess moisture in a paper towel. Chopped it & blended it into the cream cheese mix. Counted out 15 olives, squeezed out some of the excess moisture with a paper towel, chopped them & blended them in.Spread on rye bread, what a hit! This is a keeper. - 14 Nov 2002 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
Super easy and really tasty. I alternated black and green sliced olives. - 27 Mar 2002 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
Simply and classy. I like toasting the bread, and sourdough or french bagettes are great also. There is someone who always asks for the recipe anytime I bring this to a party or gathering. Great recipe to keep in an your appetizer collection---Even for the person that doesn't like being in the kitchen--we all know one or two of them :o) - 31 Dec 2002 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
