2 (410g) tins sliced peaches with juice
125g self-raising flour
200g caster sugar

Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6. Grease a 2-litre baking dish.
Stir together peaches and juice with melted butter. Pour into prepared dish. In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt. Stir in milk. Pour mixture over peaches.
Bake on bottom rack of preheated oven 15 minutes or until lightly browned, then move to top rack for 20 minutes more. Serve warm.
It says: '2 (410g) tins sliced peaches with juice' when it ought to read '1 (410g) tin sliced peaches'. I made it with two and it didn't turn out right. Similar recipes use just one tin (410g). - 08 Mar 2013
