Elvis presley's fried peanut butter and banana sandwich

    8 min

Okay, sounds crazy but it's delicious! Try it and see. I find that cut up bananas work better than mashed.

    10 people made this

    Serves: 1

    • 2 slices of thick toasted bread
    • 1 banana
    • peanut butter
    • butter, for frying

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:3min  ›  Ready in:8min

    1. Spread peanut butter on one side of toast. Arrange the cut or mashed banana on the other side.
    2. Place the two sides together to form a sandwich, then butter the bread on top.
    3. Fry the sandwhich with more butter and cook until brown and crispy. Slice and serve

This here stuff is 100% G U D (that's what we call good, good, good). It dont' get much better. Only complaint I have is Elvis din't call it banana, he called it a "nanna" or a "nanner." Thank ya kindly for sharing this muy delicioso recipe!  -  13 Aug 2011
