    About this recipe: A soft and delicious rye bread that is made easy in your bread machine. Perfect for savoury ham sandwiches for a tasty change from the norm, or toasted with soup.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 10 

    • 200ml water
    • 3/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
    • 200g strong bread flour
    • 50g rye flour
    • 25g oat bran
    • 15g butter
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
    • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
    • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 teaspoon dried active baking yeast

    1. Place the ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select Normal setting, and then press Start.
