Fresh sashimi tuna ceviche

    25 min

The refreshing fresh fish dish which originated in Peru, ceviche is traditionally some version of fresh raw fish, citrus juices and chillies. This one includes sashimi grade tuna, lemon juice, fresh ginger root and spring onions and jalapeño. All tossed together, then chilled until ready to serve. Delicious.

It wasn't bad... I have eaten ceviche before, the two peruvian that came for dinner weren't impressed they said soy sauce, ginger, spring onions in a ceviche is unheard of, This was more a modified new age version so if you are looking for a ceviche recipe this is really not the one but it wasn't bad.  -  09 Oct 2013

This is a fantastic appetizer for the sashimi tuna lover. I served in clear martini glasses to showcase the beautiful colors and garnished with avocado slices and asian rice crackers.  -  31 May 2006  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
