Christmas cake chocolate truffles

2 people made this

About this recipe: It's Boxing Day and you're wondering what to do with all of that leftover Christmas worries! These chilled dessert 'truffles' make ideal use of leftover Christmas cake crumbs with the luscious addition of melted chocolate, cream, butter and orange liqueur. Chilled and rolled in icing sugar (or cocoa powder if you prefer), they will make today's dessert delicacies out of yesterday's Christmas cake! For a more kid friendly version, use orange juice instead of orange liqueur.
