A very nice cake especially if you like something light and not too sweet Make sure you follow the directions esp the time of cooking. Mine came out of the pan very easily so yeah, no over cooking! Thank you! - 01 May 2013

Excellent cake! Just a note - I cooked it for 45 minutes, as it wasn't ready after 25 minutes. Very, very easy to make, tasted great. I made it for a dairy-intolerant colleague, decorated it with icing, and she and my other workmates (who can and will eat anything) loved it. Obviously it's not quite the same as a 'normal' cake (with butter/eggs), but if you don't tell people, they probably won't even notice, it really is that good. Brilliant if you want to treat a vegan (or someone who can't eat standard cake)! - 16 Aug 2015

Came out with a weird pudding/cake consistency. I used apple sauce instead of vegetable oil and had to cook it for longer as well. I wouldn't make it again. - 31 Dec 2013
