These brownies came out really well, but the recipe is not clear on a couple of things, so here's an extra few tips.
1. Make sure you turn the oven on and grease the tray before you start on the mixture, so it can go straight in the oven when it's ready.
2. The recipe forgets to tell you when to add the vanilla essence - I'd recommend adding this with the eggs as it's a wet ingredient
3. Make sure you wait until the brownies are completely cool before trying to cut them.
4. Un-iced brownies like these freeze well, so you can make a batch and stick half in the freezer if that will reduce temptation slightly! - 19 Sep 2015
