225ml (8 fl oz) warm water (45 C)
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1 tablespoon dark brown soft sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
400g (14 oz) bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons dried active baking yeast

Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select white bread setting. Press Start.
To bake bread in oven: Select dough or manual cycle. Once cycle is complete, shape dough and place in a greased loaf tin. Allow to rise in a warm spot until doubled in size. Bake in a preheated 180 C / Gas mark 4 oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until a thermometer inserted in the centre of the loaf reads 95 C.
Altered ingredient amounts.
good but needs more peanut butter. i added 5 instead of the 3 tablespoons and it still could have used more as it was quite hard to taste. It smelled great in the house baking though! i'd definitely make this again but maybe increase the peanut butter to 8 tbsp. - 14 Jul 2008
Used different ingredients.
mine tastes lovely toasted with butter or to refresh i cover a few sloces in foil and pop in the oven for a few minutes, mmmm.
as for alterations i used muscavado sugar, olive oil and 5 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter :o)
