Chocolate toffee traybake treats

    Sinfully moreish, these traybake treats are chock-a-block with toffee-licious, chocolaty pecan yum. Next time a gooey-toffee-chocolate craving hits, you'll be prepared with this recipe!

    Serves: 24 

    • 455g crushed chocolate digestive biscuit crumbs
    • 110g butter, melted
    • 225g individually wrapped dairy toffee sweets, unwrapped and chopped
    • 235g chocolate covered toffee bars (such as Daim®), crushed
    • 335g plain chocolate chips
    • 55g chopped pecans
    • 420ml sweetened condensed milk

    1. Preheat oven to 170 C / Gas 3. Spray a 20x30cm baking tin with nonstick spray. Stir digestive biscuit crumbs and the melted butter; press crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking tin.
    2. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven; layer the chopped toffee bits, crushed Daim ® bars, chocolate chips and chopped pecans evenly over the crust. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the layers.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven until set, about 20 minutes. Cool overnight before cutting.

    This was so simple to make and absolutely delicious! I couldn't believe how good it was! The only thing I did differently was to turn on the broiler for about a minute and a half at the end of baking.     Wow, I was amazed at how perfect these turned out!! I gave them out to several people as gifts and they have been raving about them since! They were easy to place in containers and didn't crumble. I personally did not think they were too rich, the chocolate teddy graham crust is what made them so awesome!
